VANITY STRIKES AGAIN

Last week, after shift, I accompany my friend Slice at Bench Fix Salon to have a hair-cut. I have no plans of having my hair done. But since I am just sitting and waiting there, I was convinced by the crews that I should have something for my hair. So I decided to have a colored cellophane. I got lots of gray strands anyway, mind you - a lot! LOL. After coloring my hair, it's time for the blow dry. The stylist asked me if I wanted it to be a little wavy, I just said "OK". When it's all done, OMG! I just love the wavy effects that the stylist did to my hair. Too bad I will just go straight to bed when I come home. Haha! That's why Slice took a picture from her phone because we can't help but love the wavy hair!

WINDY

It's a windy Sunday afternoon and I am loving it! No rain, not much sun - it's a perfect weather. Happy Sunday to everyone. Enjoy the simplicity of the day. 

BURLESQUE

I was able to watch this at DVD like 2 weeks ago. Burlesque is a musical movie which stars Cher and Christina Aguilera. It was an awesome movie! I was surprised to actually like it. The movie has a nice story line and actors playing on it was superb! There was never a dull moment for me while watching the movie. Every musical number was very well done. Me being a girl, envy it and was wishing to have the moves and voice of Christina Aguilera. Haha! 

The movie is all about a girl who push for her dreams and believes in herself that she can achieve it. With all those criticisms, she never stop until she proves to herself and the people around her that she's has all what it takes. True enough, her dreams become a reality and she stayed the same humble person as she is.

It's a must see girl-movie!

I was never a Cher fan. But this scene of her from the movie Burlesque gave me the chills and I suddenly fall in love with her... :)

PRINCIPAL SPONSOR?!

I've been lazy updating my blog lately, so now I am going to post what I've been up these past few weeks. So expect bunch of photos on my upcoming posts. :)

I recently attended a wedding and guess what my role is - PRINCIPAL SPONSOR! Oh yeah, am I that old? I can't say no because it's my cousin. The story why me? It's because I am her godmother on her baptismal too, I was like 7 years old then, she's my first. Then she and her husband would just want to get their baptismal godmothers and godfathers to be their wedding's principal sponsors as well. I am actually okay with it, I just felt like I'm old. Haha! 

I was not able to bring my 1000D and just brought my A470 (coz I know I won't have the time to take pictures and I am again LAZY!). Here are some photos from the wedding:

1ST DAY OF SCHOOL STORIES

It's my Lil' Man's 1st day at school earlier and I was able to fetch him right after my shift. My day at work has been a long one. Reported so early and had gone home really late. But hearing my son's "1st day of school" stories and seeing excitement in him removes all the stress in me. He is definitely all I need to live!

RAINY DAY AGAIN

It's been raining all day yesterday and today. This weather makes me lazy but I just can't not report to work. 

I  have a lot to post here in my blog during my vacation but I am just preoccupied with lots of things and can't find time to post. I am hoping to do it this weekend. Got a lot of pictures and stories to tell. 

For now, I'll be sleeping. It's a bed weather. Ciao!

LAI-LYN'S CATERING

Tapsilog craving? Try Lai-Lyn's Catering tapsilog! The place is just a few minutes away from my workplace. After shift, me and some colleagues would go there to simply eat, sometimes our food is accompanied by a couple bottle of beers. Haha. Their food is really nice, they offered catering services and have this little place where they serve very affordable meals too. Not only it is affordable but delicious as well! Yum. My favorite is their tapsilog, whenever I'm there, I can't resist ordering their tapsilog. Now, I'm hungry. LOL!
