INSPIRING MESSAGE
One of my Boss sent a New Year's message on our email which is truly inspiring that I would want to share it here in my blog.
As we bid adieu to 2011, we should also bid adieu to the loads of tensions that we carry in our head. Whenever life closes one door that we thought was ideal, it opens another one that is even better - just that at times we realize it a bit later. Offload the word 'MISTAKES' from your life and replace it with 'OPPORTUNITIES' - learn from day to day things in life but ensure that you are progressing. Wishing 2012 opens million such doors for each one of you.
The message is truly inspiring. I agree that we should learn from the day to day things in our lives. At times we just don't realize that the simple learning from our everyday life is actually what we need for growth and success. Not enough for us to just learn, we also need to apply what we learn.

LIFE IS VERY SHORT
Life is very short.
So break your silly ego, forgive quickly, believe slowly, love truly, laugh loudly and never avoid anything that makes you happy!

NESTLE SHORT FILM ANTHOLOGY
Nestle celebrates 100 years in the Philippines and these short films are one of their tokens to their beloved consumers. I was not able to watch when it was aired on TV, good thing they can be watched at YouTube. Every short film has a good story line. Though the length of these films is just 10 minutes or so, still the transition of scenes were greatly done. The message that each film was trying to infused was perfect. Nestle short films are a must see!
These 2 are my faves:

IT'S CROWDED LATELY
I've neglected my blog these past few days. There's just a lot going on lately, even sleeping was like a task that you need to do just because your body needs to. But if not, seems like I won't be sleeping to keep up with all the things I have to do. The longest hours of sleep I could have this past few days is 5 hours.
It's not just about work but other stuffs too. I already have a full plate with many side dishes. My world is too crowded lately. I'm not complaining, it's actually much better to have a crowded world than an isolated one. I just need to remind myself when to slow down if stuffs are getting out of hand. Well, I am learning how. =)

IT'S NOT A MISTAKE, IT'S A CHOICE
You can never make the same mistake twice.
Because the second time you make it,
it's not a mistake, it's a choice!
Whenever a wrong move has happened to our life for the second time, we sometimes convince ourselves that it was an honest mistake. Or we tell ourselves that we didn't know it'll end up that way again and will suddenly felt like we are a victim of circumstances. The truth is, we are just trying to give justice to the wrong acts that we decided to do again. Maybe of guilt? I am not sure, but the saying above is somehow true. Once you did the same mistake, that's because it's your choice!

I NEED TO LEARN
Taking photos has always been a pleasurable pastime for me. I often bring my point and shoot camera then and take pictures of anything I would like to. That's why I decided to buy an entry level dslr camera last December to be a little more serious of this hobby.
Others think that if you already have this kind of camera, then all your photos will turned out great. I am sorry but it is actually not. Having it will require quality time to get to know that thing! LOL. My new camera has been with me for like almost 2 months now and ask me what settings to do for a certain shot - I'll laugh hard at you coz in all honesty, I don't have any clue!
Talk about ISO, shutter speed, aperture and all others? Oh please, give me some time to comprehend baby. Haha! I am one impatient person who really can't endure reading manuals and watching online video tutorials. But I know that I should force myself to. Because if not, then I won't really be able to master it.
It still excites me though, but what I need now is patience for me to really learn the do's and don'ts. I am actually thinking of making another blog and posts there the photos, so I could also see if it is improving or what not. Hoping I could find time soon!

DO YOU STILL HAVE A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION?
The time i started this post...
It's now past midnight and sleeping is not even in my mind. I am currently in my room, my lil' man is already sleeping and me is typing my thoughts. I actually missed this. The late night, everyone was asleep, quiet surroundings while composing into writing your thoughts. I want to take this opportunity to blog. Since it's a new year, I would like to blog about those new year's resolutions and all.
It's now 2011 and 2010 was just another year you can cherish down the memory lane. I am wondering.. why is it that most people always got a new year's resolution for themselves? Do we really need to wait till new year to make things right or set goals for ourselves? Nothing against, me is just wondering. LOL!
I do set goals for my self. It's just that I don't plan ahead of time. I work on what I got as of the moment. I have learned to live life at the present and not to worry what will happen in the future. Don't get me wrong, coz it might sound like I don't care about my future. But I think of it this way - I need to make things the way I want it at the present and the future will take care of itself. None of us can really tell whatever is in store for us in the future. But I am a firm believer that whatever happens in your future is just a mere result of what you did today.
I am reflecting on what I've become at this time of my life. Then looking back, I've realized that I never even thought or planned anything of it before. But I am thankful for everything that happened in my life. All those experiences, may it be good or bad, were part of what I am as of the moment. I have no regrets and would still want to live my life at it's fullest.
I would have to say that the most important lesson life taught me thus far is that: GOD has a plan for me! God has a plan for every single person in the world. Whether something good or bad happens, it all works out for the best in the end. Your life may take turns that you don't want to happen, but it is only in time that you will understand why your life had to take that turn. One piece of advice: trust and believe. Just be the best YOU that you can be.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS
When asked by my friends what I would want this holidays, the only phrase that comes out of my mouth is "All I want for Christmas is Canon." LOL! Just recently bought one as a gift for myself, but now that I got it, seems that I can't find time to bond with it. Haha. Or I just need to accept the fact that I am too lazy to read the manual or even check tutorial videos online. I am excited to learn but don't know exactly how to begin. I am seeking help from friends who knew how, but then again, I still have a long way to go. Can't wait till I've mastered the do's and don'ts with my new cam.
And oh, by the way, don't you think the necklaces above was so cute? LOL. I actually have one, coz I find it real cute!

THINK OF IT THIS WAY...
Don't wish it was easier.
Wish you were better.
Don't wish for less problems.
Wish for more skills.
Don't wish for less challenges.
Wish for more wisdom.

BELIEVE IN BETTER DAYS

There were days that I feel like everything was a mess. But that doesn't stop there. I am a firm believer that better days are always on it's way. Just have to be patient. =)

HAPPY MESS
When you mess things up, never say -
"OOOPS!"
always say -
"Aha, interesting!"
"OOOPS!"
always say -
"Aha, interesting!"
Just learn how to turn on the light in every darkness.
Does that make sense? LOL!

WORLD TEACHERS' DAY
These were old photos taken when I was having my student teaching. Yes, I am an Education graduate and a licensed teacher. I was just not able to practice it after I graduated because I decided to work at a BPO company.
Every teacher has a mission. You can't help but be attached to your students, loving them like your own children and making sure they are on the right path. The pay you receive for this kind of profession might not be enough but seeing your students achieve their goals and thanking you for being a big part of their success makes the hardships all worth it.
Being an educator is not just a profession but rather a vocation. Every teacher should be a good example to their students. That's why I guess, I am too afraid to take that responsibility right now, because I know it will not be a piece of cake. You need to set your body and mind once you've decided to become a full pledged teacher. I am just so honest to say I am not yet ready to fulfill those duties.
But I miss teaching...
For all the teachers out there ~
Happy World Teachers' Day!

KEEP LEARNING
Today was my 3rd day in training, got 2 more days to go. I am learning a lot. I've always wanted stuffs like this once in a while, like attending a course. Cannot really be a formal class or school, but like a session wherein you can learn something else. It makes your mind renewed.
Learning is just so cool!
