CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Christmas is fast approaching and it's all around the corner. People thinking of their wish lists, busy shopping for gifts, attending parties and all. As always, Christmas season is indeed the busiest season for me and don't forget the fact that it's expensive. LOL. Got tons of invitations for Christmas party and get together, can I just attend without spending? I wish! Haha. Oh well, that's the purpose of this season, to give and share your blessings. I am just thankful as God has given me a lot and it'll never hurt to share it to the people around you once in a while.

ANAWANGIN

Been to Anawangin before October ended. It was my first time. I've been hearing a lot of this place - the beautiful view, the pine trees, the lake, mountains that surrounds the beach and how relaxing the place is - all good things I must say. Their stories excites me and wanted so much to experience the place. So when someone invited me to come, I said YES!

The place was indeed wonderful. If you are a nature lover, you'll definitely enjoy being there. Anawangin is very popular to the mountaineering community and photographers. They are the peeps whom I kept on hearing stories about this place. And by the way, Anawangin will bring you back to basics. The place doesn't have electricity, signal and you will need to bring a tent and camp if you want to stay overnight as there are no resorts available. Cool, right? 

The place deserves to be called a Paradise. Too bad it was a little crowded when we went there because of the long weekend I guess. But the place did not fail to amuse me. I would still love to go back there and explore the place more.

LONG TIME NO BLOG

Yessss, I am still alive and kicking! It's been more than a month that I haven't made a post here, same goes to my photo blog. There's just a lot of stuffs going on lately that keeps me occupied. Weeks pass by too quickly, little did I know that Christmas is already around the corner. A lot of things happened in a span of one month, seems like a year. LOL. 

I seriously miss writing and posting here in my blog. This is one way for me to express my thoughts and emotions. It just feels good whenever I jot down or type in my thoughts, I wonder why. I guess it's because I am better expressing my thoughts through writing. As I always say, I'm not really comfortable being a speaker and is more of a writer. And whenever I go back and read my previous posts, it has that magical feeling of reminiscing and remembering the same exact occurrence. Weird me? I know! Haha. 

Will again be posting past events. =)

Had my team building at Bataan like 2 weeks ago. Me and Slice did our thing while at the beach and those are sun bathing and pictures. LOL! That's how we always are at the beach. Fun, fun fun!

VANITY STRIKES AGAIN

Last week, after shift, I accompany my friend Slice at Bench Fix Salon to have a hair-cut. I have no plans of having my hair done. But since I am just sitting and waiting there, I was convinced by the crews that I should have something for my hair. So I decided to have a colored cellophane. I got lots of gray strands anyway, mind you - a lot! LOL. After coloring my hair, it's time for the blow dry. The stylist asked me if I wanted it to be a little wavy, I just said "OK". When it's all done, OMG! I just love the wavy effects that the stylist did to my hair. Too bad I will just go straight to bed when I come home. Haha! That's why Slice took a picture from her phone because we can't help but love the wavy hair!

MERCATO

A night out with good old friends. This was never planned, it just so happened that we we're all online at Facebook and decided to meet-up last Saturday and have some food trips. We went to this place called Mercato which offers different kinds of foods. All possible foods you can think of is there. It's like Banchetto where foods are all over the place. They usually open over the weekend. As usual, in a place like that, you'll go crazy deciding what to buy. It's like you would like to try and taste everything. We all ended up with full stomachs. So nice to go out and eat with good friends.

A MAN'S BEST FRIEND

 I used to have my own dog before but I don't have much time taking care of it and so I decided to give it to someone. Last night, when I was on Vinz' house (a friend who is a dog lover too), he got a new dog named Chichi. he said it was a Shih Tzu. The dog is so cute, adorable and smart. When I arrived, he keeps on following me. I am not really much into dogs as I am a little scared getting bit. But Chichi is different, he is one of those dogs who is such a sweetheart that I would want to take him home, and my friend won't allow me of course! But then he promised me that once Chichi got his babies, he'll give me one. Yey!

This photos were taken like 2 weeks ago (I think). He's name is Truffles, a Chihuahua and they are the smallest breed of dog.

I love Kristen Stewarts's look. That grunge, rock chic look of her never failed to fascinates me. I love the fact that Chuck Taylor is one of her fave! I'm amazed how she manages to wear Chucks in her dress during those awards night and still look beautiful. Below are some looks of her that I like the best:

I am thinking of posting outfit of the day photos. Either mine or my friends or colleagues. Or maybe outfit for a specific event will do, 'coz an everyday outfit will be tough. I am not a fashionista but I do love clothes, shoes, accessories, all the girl things. I'll start working on those posts. Excited! :)

THUNDER AND LIGHTNING

It's raining cats and dogs while I am making this post, accompanied by thunder and lightning. I used to be scared of them when I was a kid. A little bit till now, I guess! I am currently in my room with my son beside me who is watching TV whom by the way doesn't mind the thunders and lightnings. He just actually laughed at me when I screech a little as I got startled earlier. Such a sweetie, right?! *Sarcasm* LOL!

WINDY

It's a windy Sunday afternoon and I am loving it! No rain, not much sun - it's a perfect weather. Happy Sunday to everyone. Enjoy the simplicity of the day. 

BURLESQUE

I was able to watch this at DVD like 2 weeks ago. Burlesque is a musical movie which stars Cher and Christina Aguilera. It was an awesome movie! I was surprised to actually like it. The movie has a nice story line and actors playing on it was superb! There was never a dull moment for me while watching the movie. Every musical number was very well done. Me being a girl, envy it and was wishing to have the moves and voice of Christina Aguilera. Haha! 

The movie is all about a girl who push for her dreams and believes in herself that she can achieve it. With all those criticisms, she never stop until she proves to herself and the people around her that she's has all what it takes. True enough, her dreams become a reality and she stayed the same humble person as she is.

It's a must see girl-movie!

I was never a Cher fan. But this scene of her from the movie Burlesque gave me the chills and I suddenly fall in love with her... :)

NEW PHOTO BLOG

I've decided to use my Tumblr account as a photo blog. Already got a Tumblr like a few years back but haven't really updated it with posts since I'm updating this blog more. Now, I'll be making it as a photo blog instead. I can't really think of a site that would make a great photo blog so I'd settle on this for now. My photo blog's title is "Through the Lens". On the beach is where I want to be. I want to walk along the shore, feel the sand under my feet as the ocean breeze hits my face and the hot sun kissing my skin. I love everything about it. I so miss being there! 

TAKING PICTURES

I love taking pictures. There's something magical in it whenever I browse and look at pictures. It's like when you click into your camera, it stops a special moment from running away and you could always get back into that photo and feel the exact emotions you have at that particular moment. I would have to say that photography has the ability to make a moment last forever.
