DON'T FLATTER YOURSELF

Sending a random text message and asking "how are you doing" doesn't always mean you like the person. I might think of you at times but it doesn't really mean I want you in my life. Don't flatter yourself too much - PLEASE!

INSPIRING MESSAGE

One of my Boss sent a New Year's message on our email which is truly inspiring that I would want to share it here in my blog.

As we bid adieu to 2011, we should also bid adieu to the loads of tensions that we carry in our head. Whenever life closes one door that we thought was ideal, it opens another one that is even better - just that at times we realize it a bit later. Offload the word 'MISTAKES' from your life and replace it with 'OPPORTUNITIES' - learn from day to day things in life but ensure that you are progressing. Wishing 2012 opens million such doors for each one of you.

The message is truly inspiring. I agree that we should learn from the day to day things in our lives. At times we just don't realize that the simple learning from our everyday life is actually what we need for growth and success. Not enough for us to just learn, we also need to apply what we learn.

LIFE IS VERY SHORT

Life is very short. 

So break your silly ego, forgive quickly, believe slowly, love truly, laugh loudly and never avoid anything that makes you happy!

TEAM BUILDING

I recently transferred from one team to another. I am handling another set of team right now, some were tenured and some were new. I have to admit that it was kinda hard at first to get to know each and one of them. Though some were already under me and there were familiar faces as well, but still, getting know everyone is the hardest part. Not only me, even my agents are not comfortable with one another. So we decided to have a team building, a perfect time to bond and know one another. True enough, this event made everyone feel comfortable and felt that they are in a team. Though this team building was done by last minute preparations, it still served it's purpose.

And now they are asking for another team building, this time, we need to really plan on it. LOL!

Another late post...

Had my team building at Bataan like 2 weeks ago. Me and Slice did our thing while at the beach and those are sun bathing and pictures. LOL! That's how we always are at the beach. Fun, fun fun!

VANITY STRIKES AGAIN

Last week, after shift, I accompany my friend Slice at Bench Fix Salon to have a hair-cut. I have no plans of having my hair done. But since I am just sitting and waiting there, I was convinced by the crews that I should have something for my hair. So I decided to have a colored cellophane. I got lots of gray strands anyway, mind you - a lot! LOL. After coloring my hair, it's time for the blow dry. The stylist asked me if I wanted it to be a little wavy, I just said "OK". When it's all done, OMG! I just love the wavy effects that the stylist did to my hair. Too bad I will just go straight to bed when I come home. Haha! That's why Slice took a picture from her phone because we can't help but love the wavy hair!

Vanity strikes again! =)

KRISTEN STEWART'S LOOK

I love Kristen Stewarts's look. That grunge, rock chic look of her never failed to fascinates me. I love the fact that Chuck Taylor is one of her fave! I'm amazed how she manages to wear Chucks in her dress during those awards night and still look beautiful. Below are some looks of her that I like the best:

The photo below - see how other girl celebrities wear their dresses and high heels while Kristen wears a white polo, jeans and her Chucks but still looks pretty of them all. She is just so cool!

I am thinking of posting outfit of the day photos. Either mine or my friends or colleagues. Or maybe outfit for a specific event will do, 'coz an everyday outfit will be tough. I am not a fashionista but I do love clothes, shoes, accessories, all the girl things. I'll start working on those posts. Excited! :)

ENJOY LIFE IN HUMILITY

God balances our life by giving us enough blessings to make us happy and enough burdens to keep us humble. I've never seen one who has everything they've wanted, have you? Everyone still has their own period for yearning. That's how the cycle goes. So let's enjoy life with all HUMILITY.

Took this photo while at work. Saw the eye glasses in the Quality Room and decided to wear and have a pic. I admit that in some ways, I have that nerdy personality too. :)

I'm the biggest nerd - I love comic books and stuff like that! I don't have any friends who are actresses. I only had one girlfriend when I was growing up. Most of my friends were boys. I was such a tomboy. I enjoyed doing guy things.

This does not necessarily mean a partner in life. They can be a friend, a relative or a plain acquaintance. They are just the persons whom you always felt comfortable with and can always connect to. Do you have one? I'm sure everyone does. You might not just realized it yet. :)

NESTLE SHORT FILM ANTHOLOGY

Nestle celebrates 100 years in the Philippines and these short films are one of their tokens to their beloved consumers. I was not able to watch when it was aired on TV, good thing they can be watched at YouTube. Every short film has a good story line. Though the length of these films is just 10 minutes or so, still the transition of scenes were greatly done. The message that each film was trying to infused was perfect. Nestle short films are a must see!

SAME SHIRTS

Us three have this thing about buying same shirts. 

PILIPINAS SHIRT

Bought these shirts December 2009 at F&H. We really all wanted to have the black one but since there's no available sizes for them, they ended up buying different colors. We even went to the 3 nearest mall just to look for the black colored shirt. Haha. Why we called it PILIPINAS SHIRT? Because it has the Philippine Map at the top left of the shirt. At gusto lang  namen!

I AM PINAY

Bought these shirts July 2011 at Penshoppe. Well, we thought that we haven't bought same shirts again. We have always planned to buy but we always ended up thinking "Next time na lang!". So when we went recently to a mall and have our coffee time, we decided to buy same shirts for the 2nd time. I super love the caption that is on the shirt. So cool! :)

DON'T RUSH

Broken hearts are meant to be fixed.

It may take a day, a week, a month, or even years. But at some point, somebody is going to come in your life and make you realize why every other relationship failed. Don’t rush the process, because being single is God’s way of saying now is not the time for you.

Photos of me and Zab or Bhe (our terms of endearment, LOL). The first two photos were really coincidence. They just happened to be the same without us realizing it until now, while we really intended the third photo to be the same as the other two. The reason why this is our favorite pose: she's small and I am tall! I always unconsciously put my arms on her head whenever we're taking pictures, and so it became our fave pose. Haha!
