It's a windy Sunday afternoon and I am loving it! No rain, not much sun - it's a perfect weather. Happy Sunday to everyone. Enjoy the simplicity of the day.

I was able to watch this at DVD like 2 weeks ago. Burlesque is a musical movie which stars Cher and Christina Aguilera. It was an awesome movie! I was surprised to actually like it. The movie has a nice story line and actors playing on it was superb! There was never a dull moment for me while watching the movie. Every musical number was very well done. Me being a girl, envy it and was wishing to have the moves and voice of Christina Aguilera. Haha!

The movie is all about a girl who push for her dreams and believes in herself that she can achieve it. With all those criticisms, she never stop until she proves to herself and the people around her that she's has all what it takes. True enough, her dreams become a reality and she stayed the same humble person as she is.

It's a must see girl-movie!

I was never a Cher fan. But this scene of her from the movie Burlesque gave me the chills and I suddenly fall in love with her... :)

The caption graphic goes to i-am-iNa . I am pre-occupied with a lot of things lately and that includes updating Through the Lens. But that doesn't mean I don't love this blog anymore! I do and I felt a little bad not updating it. LOL! There's actually a lot going on lately but my mind's too tired to put it into writing. Let me start with the things I find interesting these past few days. Will try...

I've decided to use my Tumblr account as a photo blog. Already got a Tumblr like a few years back but haven't really updated it with posts since I'm updating this blog more. Now, I'll be making it as a photo blog instead. I can't really think of a site that would make a great photo blog so I'd settle on this for now. My photo blog's title is "Through the Lens". If you guys have an idea of a site that makes a good photo blog, please let me know.

Took this photo while at work. Saw the eye glasses in the Quality Room and decided to wear and have a pic. I admit that in some ways, I have that nerdy personality too. :)

I'm the biggest nerd - I love comic books and stuff like that! I don't have any friends who are actresses. I only had one girlfriend when I was growing up. Most of my friends were boys. I was such a tomboy. I enjoyed doing guy things.

Closing time -
one last call for alcohol,
so finish your whiskey or beer.

Closing time -
you don't have to go home
but you can't stay here.

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

Random - I suddenly miss summer days! :)

On the beach is where I want to be. I want to walk along the shore, feel the sand under my feet as the ocean breeze hits my face and the hot sun kissing my skin. I love everything about it. I so miss being there!

Do you believe in them?

This does not necessarily mean a partner in life. They can be a friend, a relative or a plain acquaintance. They are just the persons whom you always felt comfortable with and can always connect to. Do you have one? I'm sure everyone does. You might not just realized it yet. :)

I love taking pictures. There's something magical in it whenever I browse and look at pictures. It's like when you click into your camera, it stops a special moment from running away and you could always get back into that photo and feel the exact emotions you have at that particular moment. I would have to say that photography has the ability to make a moment last forever.

Weekend food trips with my buddy Fern! Just this last Saturday, we tried a new food place in Marikina called Burrito Bros where they offer Mexican style foods. Then the next day, we decided to visit Banapple to fill in our stomachs. :)

What's in the table?

Super Taco

Super Burrito

Banapple on Sunday

Hickory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs

It's a Pesto pasta for Fern; I forgot it's menu name

Apple Caramel Crumble Pie

Home Made Ice Tea

Mirinda Soda

Looking forward for more food trips with friends! I suddenly got hungry. Haha!

If there's something better
than giving others the best of what we have,
it is giving others the best of who we are.

Good persons are like streetlights along the road.
They don't make the distance shorter;
but they light up the path
and make the walk worthwhile.

Nestle celebrates 100 years in the Philippines and these short films are one of their tokens to their beloved consumers. I was not able to watch when it was aired on TV, good thing they can be watched at YouTube. Every short film has a good story line. Though the length of these films is just 10 minutes or so, still the transition of scenes were greatly done. The message that each film was trying to infused was perfect. Nestle short films are a must see!

These 2 are my faves:

At last, non-agents team building! A very rare get together for all the management peeps. We all got there to forget about work because it's time to relax and have fun. Foods, beers, massage, games, activities, videoke, band, laughter, it's just all fun. With all those stuffs back at work, everyone truly deserve this stress-free day! Too bad some were not able to come.

We all need to learn work-life balance!

My good friend Slice just celebrated her birthday and had this Hawaiian theme party. Guests were asked to dress up accordingly. It was a night full of fun. Though I got lot of bruises after the party because we keep on pulling one another to the pool. Haha! Most us don't have plans to swim but we all ended up in the pool and got home with our clothes wet!

Check out the photos from Slice's cam:

To my dear friend Slice:

I know this is a late post and I've greeted you a lot of times already. I still wanted to thank you for always keeping up with me. Good or bad times, I can always count on you. You know exactly what's on my mind without even telling you. You're one of my few friends whom I can always have fun with, lean on when times are hard, tell everything about me and not being judged to. Super thanks!

I've been lazy updating my blog lately, so now I am going to post what I've been up these past few weeks. So expect bunch of photos on my upcoming posts. :)

I recently attended a wedding and guess what my role is - PRINCIPAL SPONSOR! Oh yeah, am I that old? I can't say no because it's my cousin. The story why me? It's because I am her godmother on her baptismal too, I was like 7 years old then, she's my first. Then she and her husband would just want to get their baptismal godmothers and godfathers to be their wedding's principal sponsors as well. I am actually okay with it, I just felt like I'm old. Haha!

I was not able to bring my 1000D and just brought my A470 (coz I know I won't have the time to take pictures and I am again LAZY!). Here are some photos from the wedding:

Below are some photos from my cousin's cam:

 With my Mom

 Newly weds with relatives

Mommy and Daddy

With cousin Ate Ida and Mamang (our pretty Lola)

With the Newly Weds - the Bride is my cousin and she is just so beautiful!

As what I always say to the couples who just got married: stay in love with each other. :)

I will always love weddings!
